Why do we wear our hearts on our sleeves?

SEPTEMBER 29, 2020

Why do we wear our hearts on our sleeves? To help others and to support the American Heart Association (AHA). Healthy lifestyles and a work-life balance are critical to AlphaGroup Medical Communications. So this October, we are once again participating in the annual AHA CycleNation event.

AlphaGroup’s 2020 unified goal is to culminate our month of fitness and fundraising on October 29 to honor World Stroke Day and to help raise awareness for the prevention and treatment of stroke. In addition, this year’s AHA CycleNation event offers members the timely opportunity to elevate company pride and to stay connected with family and friends while focusing on mental health and overall wellbeing.

Join the AlphaGroup AHA CycleNation team to help our Philadelphia community take control of brain and heart health through a 4-week fundraising and activity challenge from October 1-29 culminating on World Stroke Day.

Erin Crocker, Account Director for AlphaBioCom, stays fit and healthy on her Peloton while supporting the American Heart Association.

Mindful of various limitations this year, CycleNation has transformed its 2020 efforts into a united digital experience. While cycling is encouraged, anyone may participate and define their own activity goal to ride, walk, or run.

AlphaGroup invites others in our community at large to join in the 2020 AHA CycleNation event by either joining our team on this virtual “ride” or by simply donating.

Ongoing support helps further AHA’s mission, which is more critical than ever given its immediate investment in scientific research to learn the impact that COVID-19 is having on heart and brain health. This new initiative will provide information to those immediately affected by the coronavirus and help healthcare heroes and first responders on the front lines. In addition, the Philadelphia branch of the national AHA CycleNation event uses these funds locally to promote healthy eating and stroke risk awareness in underserved communities.

Join now and stay tuned for our collaborative celebration on October 29. Take a look here to see the fun our team had in 2019. Let’s unite to make this year even stronger.

Thank you and ride on!
