JUNE 16, 2020Creativity in the world of medical and scientific communications is an art unto itself. Our Creative Services Manager, Annie Lawrence, possesses a distinctive eye to detail and composition designing unparalleled materials for this challenging industry.
Annie leads the AlphaBioCom design team to create medical posters, slide decks, infographics, illustrations, graphics, and all other visual deliverables for the company’s diverse client base. Her creative genius transforms scientific concepts and information into comprehensive, compelling visual output.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Marketing from Alvernia College and studied at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia. Annie took courses in a cross section of visual disciplines including Digital Design, Computer Illustration, Web Design, and Digital Imaging with Photoshop. She joined AlphaBioCom as a Graphic Designer in 2017 and was a Project Manager for The Art Partnership in Jenkintown, PA, for more than six years.

An avid animal lover, Annie is an active supporter of ACCT Philly, Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia, where she donates her time to help them raise money by drawing portraits of pets and animals in need of adoption. She also volunteers and takes care of the dogs at Philly PAWS, dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless and at-risk animals.

During the Coronavirus pandemic, Annie’s design routine continues to flourish as she explores her creative energy while working remotely. To relieve the stressors of the current environment, Annie enjoys reading, drawing, and taking long runs through the City of Philadelphia along the Schuylkill River Trail. Annie and her husband are avid travelers and look forward to future adventures to the many destinations on their joint bucket list. In the meantime, they are practicing social distancing at the New Jersey shore and on their deck in South Philadelphia.
