Terri leverages her expertise in the biomedical, scientific, and pharmaceutical fields to provide clients with the highest quality medical affairs deliverables along with strategic and compliance guidance. She also oversees the professional development of her team of writers, scientists, and designers to drive company growth and set a new standard in the quality and effectiveness of medical affairs communications.
Terri’s extensive experience and education across cardiovascular, pulmonary, immunology, dermatology, infectious disease, antibiotics, and psychiatric therapy areas includes a doctorate in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in Biology from Carleton College, Northfield, MN. She completed postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. During her postdoctoral training, she received a NARSAD Young Investigator Award and held a NIDA/NIH Postdoctoral Individual National Research Service Award.

She has also authored more than a dozen scientific research publications spanning topics from basic neurochemistry and behavioral and developmental cognitive neuroscience to psychopharmacology and post-traumatic healing in the central nervous system.
Prior to her new role at AlphaScientia, Terri developed a keen eye to create critical communications for a diverse audience serving in multiple executive positions at AlphaBioCom, a leading Scientific Communications Agency. During her seven-year tenure at AlphaBioCom, Terri directed content development for abstracts, posters, slide decks, primary data, and review manuscripts. She ensured projects were delivered with the highest quality in the industry within scope, budget, and timelines. She also developed strategic and tactical publication plans and participated in content development for new business and capability pitches.
Gratitude for family explorations abroad in Iceland and Alaska prior to COVID-19
An avid traveler, Terri is grateful for her opportunities to explore Iceland and the Glacier National Park in Alaska, prior to the Coronavirus pandemic. She and her family have also enjoyed local tourist attractions in her “adopted” hometown of Philadelphia, such as a behind the scenes experience at the Philadelphia Zoo, where they met Tony the white rhino. Nowadays, Terri finds peace diving into a new book or hiking the many beautiful trails of Western Pennsylvania.
